  • Helen Wegener Holt B.A., after graduating from Lewis & Clark, earned an M.Ed. from the University of Oregon. After many years of teaching, she went on to receive the Ruth Q. de Prida Award for exceptional service from the California Retired Teachers Association. Wegener enjoys summer visits to Lewis & Clark’s campus and staying with a Gresham High School ’39 classmate.

  • Imogene Sittner ’40, April 24, 2015, age 96.

  • Melba Miner ’47, April 30, 2015, age 89.

  • Berkeley Snow Jr. BS ’48, May 21, 2015, age 92.

  • John Reitz BA, who invigorated the Snack Shack that once existed below Albany Quadrangle with jazz music, continues to play trumpet. Reitz, along with his Harbor Patrol Jazz Band, performed at the Clark County Fair in Vancouver, Washington, in August. It was the 20th consecutive year the band had played at the event.
