September 25The Metropolitan Museum of Art annually welcomes a vibrant group of graduate students, museum professionals, and senior scholars to undertake independent study and research related to the Museum’s collections. Fellows become immersed in the life of the Museum through behind-the-scenes tours, weekly gatherings with members of the Museum staff, and tours of the collections and exhibitions. Each spring, we offer a series of fellows’ colloquia, providing an opportunity for the scholars to present short papers on their work in progress to university colleagues, Museum staff, and the academic community.
