Emergency Planning: Preparedness

Lewis & Clark takes active preparedness steps toward increasing resilience by reducing or eliminating impacts on human life, property, and the environment. These efforts are often concurrent with mitigation efforts in protecting the College community, and fall into three categories: formal plans;drills and exercises; and awareness, education, and promotion of emergency management objectives and protocols.

Examples of preparedness initiatives include emergency signs and posters, informational seminars and classes, readiness drills, and stockpiling emergency provisions.
