Their dedication often goes unseen, yet it’s their hard work that allows the rest of us to function smoothly. From the early hours of the morning to late into the night, they are the silent heroes, diligently mopping floors, emptying trash bins, sanitizing surfaces, and so much more! Concept submissions spoke to the common theme of a community garden space. In the next phase of the planning process, the College will test the feasibility of design elements submitted by faculty, staff, and students. 

This spring, you may have noticed the construction has shifted from our new Fowler Student Center to the Stewart and Odell Residence Halls. The renovation on these conjoined buildings began in late December after occupants—all students who would be studying abroad this spring—moved out.

The Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI) is pleased to announce that a new lactation room has been established on the CAS campus for employees, students, and visitors. 

This spring, Lewis & Clark unveiled the newly renovated Stephanie Fowler Student Center (formerly known as Templeton). Designed to be the “heart of campus,” the updated student center features enhanced meeting and activity spaces, outdoor gathering spots, and improved accessibility features.

Facilities Services has updated our service request portal, Akitabox, to reflect the newly named Fowler Student Center. 

The new exterior elevator on the south side of the Fowler Student Center is up and running.

Fowler Student Center (formerly Templeton) is now beautiful on the inside, and it will soon be beautiful on the outside with a fresh coat of paint.

Part of the Akin lot will be fenced off for the Stewart Odell renovation (pictured in orange area). The ADA parking spots and the Admissions spots have been temporary relocated to the northern most row in the Akin lot.
