After months of preparation and more than a little effort, on Monday, April 2nd, Facilities Services debuted its new work order system to the Lewis & Clark Community. More than a new website link and program, LC Works merges lessons learned from our initial venture into electronic service requests in July of 2001 with 11 years of technological advances. The result: a dynamic new approach.
What does this mean? With the incorporation of the Megamation platform, end users can expect significant improvements in ease of use and communication throughout the life cycle of their work orders. From a Facilities Services standpoint, automatic reports help identify employee work load considerations and potential pitfalls to help determine the most accurate timeline for completion. These will also illuminate areas where our service response can be improved.
