The Employee Referral Program is a reward program whose purpose is to encourage our current staff employees to recommend their great friends and acquaintances to apply for staff jobs here too. The process is simple. Persuade your friends, relatives, or neighbors to apply for open jobs for which they are qualified. Access to our employment listings is found at https://jobs.lclark.edu. Once they have applied, fill out the online Referral Form below by the closing day of the posting. If no closing day is listed, send it to HR before the position closes on our employment web site. If your referred person is hired and remains in the position for six months, you will receive a bonus, and your good luck will be announced in The Source.
Because this program is designed to introduce those who do not know about working at Lewis & Clark to the benefits of employment here, recommendations for former employees who re-apply, or for temporary, on-call employees who have previously been or are currently employed at Lewis & Clark are not accepted.
Questions and Answers
How much is the bonus?
If the person you referred is hired and remains in the position for six months, we will add a bonus of $300 to your pay by the pay date after the completion of the six months.
How do I win a Gift Certificate?
Whether your referred employee is hired or not, you will be eligible for the next quarterly drawing for a $25 restaurant gift certificate. Drawings take place in March, June, September, and December in the Human Resources office. Winners will be notified by phone and announced in The Source.
Who is eligible to receive the bonus?
Any LC employee is eligible unless he/she is involved in the interview process or will supervise the potential new employee.
Can I refer a person for more than one position?
Absolutely. You can help yourself and us by only referring people to positions for which they meet the minimum qualifications. Each referral increases your chances for the gift certificate drawing. Please complete a referral form for each position the potential employee applies to.
What is the deadline?
The applicant must apply and the Referral Form below must be submitted to Human Resources prior to the closing date for the position in question. If the position is listed as “Open Until Filled,” the form must be submitted while the posting is still in the open status on our employment page.
