The Office of Equity and Inclusion and Human Resources are excited to announce that we have partnered to enroll our campus in Belong: An Inclusive Learning Community. This is a learning network open to all employees offered on behalf of the Council of Independent Colleges that is intended to increase student and collegial belonging on college campuses.

Last summer, six exempt employees formed a working group to research ways of organizing a Lewis & Clark Staff Council. Exempt staff—unlike faculty and union staff—do not currently have an organized body within the institution to support their work, promote collaboration and communication, and to serve as an advisory body to the Executive Council.

In compliance with the State of Oregon’s new Paid Leave Oregon (or PLO) program, the Lewis & Clark Paid Leave Program will become available for eligible Lewis & Clark employees beginning September 3, 2023. This program covers all employees of Lewis & Clark except for student employees.
