Information for Delegates
We are proud to invite your institution to designate a delegate to march in the official processional at President Robin Holmes-Sullivan’s installation ceremony.
It is a longstanding tradition for colleges, universities, and learned societies to send delegates to a presidential inauguration. Dressed in the academic regalia of their respective institutions, delegates march in the inauguration processional in order of the founding date of each institution.
Details about check-in, attire, and more will be shared via email after delegates have registered for the ceremony.
The Kimpton RiverPlace Hotel (1510 S Harbor Way, Portland, OR 97201) is an affordable, luxury hotel located just 13-minutes from campus.
Limited general parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for guests attending inauguration events. We strongly recommend using our free Pioneer Express shuttle, carpooling, taking Trimet, or utilizing a rideshare service, if you are able.
If you are driving, please enter at the Gate 2 entrance and park in the Griswold parking lots C and D in the reserved delegate parking spots. For information about Pamplin Sports Center, please refer to our campus map.
Coffee service and light refreshments will be provided at the Gregg Pavilion which is adjacent to the older Agnes Flanagan Chapel. For more substantial lunchtime fare, visit the Trail Room which is next to the bookstore in the Templeton Student Center.

Lost and Found
Items left behind at inaugural events will be turned in to the Campus Safety office located at Gate 3.
