Information Technology is changing the College’s voicemail retention practices in order to reduce storage utilization and the number of full voicemail inboxes. These changes will impact voicemail messages delivered both to your voicemail inbox, as well as your LC email inbox. All messages older than 90 days will be permanently deleted from your LC email inbox and voicemail inbox on April 1, 2024. Last semester institutional leadership began developing a new strategic plan and, with the help of a growing circle of faculty and staff, we have made good headway. We are now looking for wider participation in the process.
Last summer, six exempt employees formed a working group to research ways of organizing a Lewis & Clark Staff Council. Exempt staff—unlike faculty and union staff—do not currently have an organized body within the institution to support their work, promote collaboration and communication, and to serve as an advisory body to the Executive Council.
