    Information Technology is changing the College’s voicemail retention practices in order to reduce storage utilization and the number of full voicemail inboxes. These changes will impact voicemail messages delivered both to your voicemail inbox, as well as your LC email inbox. All messages older than 90 days will be permanently deleted from your LC email inbox and voicemail inbox on April 1, 2024. If you have voicemail messages that you would like to save, please download locally or to another storage location prior to this date.

    Last summer, six exempt employees formed a working group to research ways of organizing a Lewis & Clark Staff Council. Exempt staff—unlike faculty and union staff—do not currently have an organized body within the institution to support their work, promote collaboration and communication, and to serve as an advisory body to the Executive Council.

    This year’s symposium, Life Within Capitalism: Reconsidering Market Consequences and the Earth System, will be held October 16–19, 2023. The symposium will feature keynote speakers Professor Yuko Aoyama and Clarence Edwards, as well as an art workshop and a game about carbon cap and trade. All events are free and open to the public.
