Visiting Campus

Visitor Parking

When visiting Lewis & Clark for the first time, use Entry Gate 3 and visit the Campus Safety building. There, you can obtain a campus map, parking permit, and directions on which parking lot to use.

Parking permits are required during the fall and spring semesters, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Parking is free after 7 p.m. weekdays, as well as on weekends. During the summer (mid-May through August), permits are required only for parking in staff spaces on the Law and Graduate campuses. Reserved parking for disabled visitors is distributed throughout lots on all three campuses.

Visitor and Guest Permits

Lewis & Clark offers the following parking permit options to our visitors and guests:

Visitor Parking Passes

All visitors, including alumni and others in personal vehicles, must purchase visitor permits. These are available at the Office of Campus Safety and at vending machines in lots B, C, D, and O. Individuals attending special events or conferences at Lewis & Clark during regulated hours are also required to purchase a visitor-parking permit. Sponsors of special events must contact the Office of Transportation and Parking if visitor permits are to be issued in advance. Visitor permits cost $4 when purchased before 4 p.m. and $2 when purchased after 4 p.m.

Visitor parking passes are also available for online purchase. For your convenience, you can buy and print a parking pass, for the day of your planned visit or event, before arriving on campus.

Guest Parking Passes

Guests of Lewis & Clark may park in specially designated reserved spaces at Entry Gate 3 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those eligible for guest permits include prospective students, parents of prospective students, parents of current students, job applicants, and other guests of Lewis & Clark. There is no charge for guest parking permits.
