Criminal Aliens: A discussion of the Department of Homeland Security’s Criminal Alien Program, Secure Communities and the criminalization of undocumented immigrants.

The Obama administration has deported record numbers while claiming to focus removal efforts on “criminal aliens.” Who are these “criminal aliens,” how does the program work, and why has the ACLU sued Multnomah County? Join Stephen Manning, an award-winning immigration attorney and adjunct professor at Lewis& Clark, and Jaime Limon Guzman, an immigrant rights organizer, as they discuss these topics and more.

Sponsored by the National Lawyers Guild, ACLU and Latino Law Society.
