Lewis & Clark’s Jessup team was once again successful in the Mid-Atlantic Regional in Washington, D.C. in February. The Lewis & Clark Jessup Team for 2013 - comprised of Shane Barnes, Sarah Dandurand, Anaiah Krueger, Tristan Parker and Bryan Thompson, and coached by L&C alum Dagmar Butte - was a quarter-finalist in the Mid-Atlantic Regional where 22 teams and over 80 speakers competed for team and individual honors. The team ranked 6th going into quarters and the team also won the Second Best Brief prize. L&C lost in the Quarters to eventual champion American University and has high hopes for next year as two team members will be returning to improve upon that quarter final finish.
Lewis and Clark hosted the Pacific Super Regional where the teams from Hastings and University of Denver advanced to the International Rounds. The competition was administered by alumni Will Patterson and Dagmar Butte.
