Interfaith Visit to the Vedanta Society
Date: 8:45am - 2:00pm PDT April 16, 2016
The Vedanta Society honors the life and teachings of Indian saints, including Ramakrishna.
Ramakrishna’s mystical experiences through various faith traditions led to his teaching that different religions are various means to reach the one absolute truth. We will tour the forested retreat grounds, stopping to visit shrines and honor various faiths, and we will end our hike with a vegetarian meal at the Main Temple.
Meet in front of Agnes Flanagan Chapel at 8:45 am; we will return by afternoon. Please contact Jeanne Lilly (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
If you plan to join us, please sign up at http://tinyurl.com/zjouska by Thursday April 14th at noon.
