The Mormon Identity: An Insider’s View as the Presidential Election Approaches
Date: October 24 2012 7:30pm Location: Miller Hall - Miller Hall
Come learn about what Mormons believe and practice! On Wednesday, October 24th at 7:30 PM in Miller 205 the Interfaith Council is sponsoring this “Different Faiths, Different Visions” forum. Bob Starke, a practicing Mormon will speak about what it means to be a Mormon and the beliefs and lifestyles involved. Mr. Starke was the Portland Associate Director for the Church Educational System of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon church) for many years. He regularly met with Lewis & Clark Mormon students on a weekly basis before he retired in 2011.
