Eleven teams still in the running for the Lewis & Clark Venture Competition will pitch their projects to a panel of judges for a chance at project funding totaling $30,000.
Launched in January, the Venture Competition welcomed proposals from three- to five-member teams of students and young alumni from the College of Arts and Sciences, the Law School, and the Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Throughout the spring, a field of more than 40 was narrowed down to 11 remaining teams.
The five winning teams announced at the end of the Pitch Day event will receive additional mentorship and seed funding throughout the summer. This fall, the Venture Competition will culminate in one last round of presentations by the finalists, and funding totaling up to $30,000 will be made available to the two most promising ventures.
The Lewis & Clark campus community is invited to attend Pitch Day.
