“Breaking Down Cultural Stereotypes”

Looking to get a little multicultural this spring?

The International Students of Lewis & Clark cordially invite you to a celebration of diversity and multicultural identities.

At the 53nd Annual International Fair, let us introduce you to the many cultures and nationalities that are represented at Lewis & Clark College. Come enjoy an array of meaningful events,  mouth-watering dishes and fun-filled performances from across the world. 

Please join students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff, as we bring you:

  • Short documentary screening: “Peanut Butter, Jelly, Racism” and “Check Our Bias to Wreck Our Bias”

  • World Language Poetry Night: a poetry reading showcasing poems from different languages and cultures from all around the world. Submission open to all students (email islcgov@lclark.edu)

  • Mouth-watering delicacies ranging from Chicken Satay to Aebleskiver

  • A fashion show with garments from around the world.

  • Stage performances (dance, music, etc.) choreographed and performed by students from traditional to modern styles.

World Language Poetry Night

ISLC is calling for poem submission for all students who want to share a poem on the theme

Beyond the Wall: “Breaking Down Cultural Stereotypes”

*Entry can be in English or other languages with English synopsis

(Admission: $8 for adults, $4 for children)

 

International Fair Fashion Show & Performances: 2:00 pm — 4:00 pm

@Agnes Flanagan Chapel

(Free admission)

 

No registration necessary.
