Reception: Community Conservation and Sense of Place in Costa Rica

Join us in welcoming visiors from Costa Rica for a discussion on community engagement in local watershed conservation projects, with time for questions.

We will be welcoming Rolando Zamora, Vivian Solano, Carmen Hernadez, Juan Diego Bolanos (our watershed guide and musician), and Nancy Aitken, all of whom have hosted graduate students enrolled in the Ecoscapes: Costa Rica course. They will spend a few moments sharing experiences in promoting community engagement in local watershed conservation projects.
