All symposium events are free and open to the public; however, there is a $3 daily parking fee. Visitor permits are available at Campus Safety. All events are held in Templeton Student Center unless otherwise specified.
Art Exhibit, March 10-12, Templeton Student Center, Stamm
With new approaches, both subtle and direct, students, faculty, and other contemporary artists celebrate and investigate the age-old concerns of beauty, mystery, and the seeming differences of the sexes. Curated by Barbara Bartholomew, visiting assistant professor of art, and the Gender Studies Symposium Art Committee, Meghan Sinnott ,student coordinator.

Keynote Address Anne Brodsky

Anne Brodsky, Associate Professor of Psychology and Women’s Studies, University of Maryland-Baltimore County, with Sahar Saba from the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA). Professor Brodsky is the author of With All Our Strength: The Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA).

Keynote Address Don Sabo
Professor of Sociology, D’Youville College

Professor Sabo has written extensively on issues of gender, health, sports, and violence and is co-editor of Masculinities, Gender Relations, and Sport and Prison Masculinities.
