Gathering of Remembrance for the 10th Anniversary of 9/11
Date: September 11 2011 7:00pm Location: Gregg Pavilion - Diane Gregg Memorial Pavilion
-
The 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York City will be dedicated on September 11, 2011 and open to the public on September 12th.
This Gathering of Remembrance on the 10th anniversary of September 11, 2001 will be a brief and simple observance of reflection, music, and silence. The chapel staff will serve as the facilitators as we remember those who died and reflect on how our world has changed as we renew our commitment to peace and mutual understanding.
The Diane Gregg Memorial Pavilion will also be open from 7 AM to 7 PM on Sunday the 11th, and we would invite you to enter the pavilion at any point to meditate, pray, or light a candle of remembrance.
For further information, please contact Dean of the Chapel Mark Duntley at 503-768-7082 or duntley@lclark.edu.
