Come see Amy Oppenheimer's film "The Faces of Israel" and join in a discussion with her afterwards

Templeton Campus Center

Join film maker and educator Amy Beth  Oppenheimer for a fascinating discussion of her film “Faces of Israel,” a film on Israeli democracy today and some of the hot topics on the current scene. What does it mean for Israel to be a Jewish state and a democracy? Come learn about the current discussion on key issues such as religious freedom, conversion, marriage and divorce apart from the Rabbinic establishment and same sex marriage.
This program has been very well received around the country and LC students and members of the wider community will find it fascinating and compelling.  Faces of Israel is highly-interactive and combines film screening with presentation and dynamic discussion.
This event is sponsored by the Lewis & Clark Chapel, and it is free to the Lewis & Clark community and open to the public.
