Share Your Memories of Former Professors

Do you remember taking classes or visiting professors in Thaxter, Throckmorton, or Edmonds?

Do you remember taking classes or visiting professors in Thaxter, Throckmorton, or Edmonds? In preparation for deconstructing these circa-1960s buildings to pave the way for Howard Hall—a new 50,000-square-foot building for teaching and research—the College wants to honor the memory of the beloved professors after whom the buildings were named:

  • Benjamin Thaxter, former professor of English and field biology
  • Arthur Throckmorton, former chair of the history department
  • T.J. Edmonds, former professor of business administration
