Class Notes - 1970s


Richard Moore B.S. has pursued the craft of songwriting since he graduated with an English degree. He and Cal Scott B.A. ’72 completed production of a music video titled “Oregon Home,” which airs on Oregon Public Broadcasting. Moore is collaborating with Monte Merrick B.A. ’71 on a theatrical production, Rain! The Musical. In May, Steve Knox B.S. ’72 assisted with a staged reading at Lakewood Center for the Arts in Lake Oswego.


Arts & Sciences Reunion June 20-23, 2012


Joyce Gilman Liljeholm M.Ed. ’78 received the Richard E. Walker Award in May from the Oregon Safe Schools and Communities Coalition in recognition of her years of work to reduce bullying in schools. The health and safety of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth are particular areas of concern for Liljeholm.


Elisabeth Hampton-Gray B.S. hosts the new TV series Oregon Quilting, produced through Metro East Community Media TV Studios in Portland.
