Michael Sarno serves as Placement Coordinator for the School Counseling, School Psychology, and Teaching Endorsement Programs at Lewis & Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Driven by a passion for higher education and helping students, Michael strives to make a difference by bringing years of customer service and project management experience to the Partnerships and Clinical Placement office.

Originally hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Michael graduated with a BA in History from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2014 and helped co-found the University’s Religious Studies program. He worked at Northeastern University in Government Relations and Marketing prior to moving to the Portland area in 2021.

Michael enjoys journalism, radio production/hosting, and cooking in his spare time in an attempt to complete and live out his unintentional Frasier Crane story arc.
