Professional Background

Professor Ambrose was a shareholder in one of Idaho’s largest law firms from 1976 through 1988. There he represented a natural gas utility before the Idaho Public Utilities Commission and represented banks and other institutional clients in bankruptcy and reorganization proceedings. From 1989 through 1991, he was of counsel to two large Northwest-based law firms specializing in bankruptcy, reorganization, and secured transactions. In 1992 he left the practice of law and became managing partner of his family’s farming and ranching business. Ambrose is a member of the Idaho State Bar, the Agricultural Law Association, and the American Bar Association.
