Religion has pervaded every human society and nearly every human activity as far back as historical evidence exists. The study of religion at Lewis & Clark College is therefore an integral part of the wider College Humanities program. It gives students the opportunity for critical reflection on a wide variety of religious traditions, always within the historical, cultural and social contexts in which they flourish.
