Supporting Lewis & Clark College
Advancing knowledge, changing lives
At Lewis & Clark College, our campus grounds pulse with energy. Our buildings hum with life. Our centers of learning and fields of play beat to many rhythms.
It's what happens when people from all parts of the country and many parts of the world, from diverse backgrounds and an array of disciplines, come together to prepare for and celebrate lives rooted in knowledge, purpose, service, and leadership.
The learning, discovery, service, and leadership that thrive here do not stop at our campus edge. They make their way into surrounding communities, urban centers, rural towns, and global villages--carried by students, faculty, alumni, donors, and friends who bring our mission to life every day, finding expression in lives that advance knowledge, enhance communities, and serve the common good.
That is the legacy of Lewis & Clark College. It is a legacy made possible in great part by the generosity of individuals who support our institution through personal commitments of time, money, and boundless good will.
What giving does
When you give to Lewis & Clark, you shape that legacy and share its promise. Your giving has a profound impact on the life and learning that define our campus and enrich our communities. Consider: Approximately 76 percent of our undergraduate students, 62 percent of our degree-seeking graduate students, and 92 percent of our law students receive some form of financial assistance. In the absence of individual gifts and support, those numbers would diminish considerably. That means the people they represent would withdraw and the life that animates our centers of learning and fields of play would be stilled. How bleak our common future would then be.
But because you give, we know that our campus will continue to resound with life and learning that echo well beyond the borders of Palatine Hill. When you give, you make the stories that unfold here your stories. You make lives of learning, leadership, and public service your legacy.
