Join team “Pios” for the Bridge Pedal
Hi All!
I’ve started a Lewis & Clark team for the upcoming Bridge Pedal, which takes place Sunday, August 12 in Portland. Since 1996, this is the only opportunity each year to enjoy the Willamette River bridges – including the top decks of the Fremont and Marquam bridges – from the best possible vantage point: the seat of a bicycle. Avid cyclists and novice pedalers, young and old, can ride from 13 to 36 miles.
The team name is “Pios”. Team members save $7 off registration (if we don’t have 12 we only save $4), plus we can discuss themes/costumes/t-shirts & other names (I wasn’t sure what to call it but Pios made sense at the time; it is not an officially sanctioned event so it is a provisional designation).
It is open to all, not just L&C community so spread the word to your friends and family.
