May 2013 Finals Notes
Just a few things students should know for finals this semester!

Voodoo Donuts, anyone?
ASLC and Dean Anna think that a little Voodoo (Donuts) can help you with your final exams. Come join us on Tuesday, May 7th at 9:00 AM at the East Hall Rec Room for donuts, coffee, and fruit. Get there early before the voodoo runs out.
Watzek Library
Watzek Library will be open 24 hours during reading days and finals week including the weekend of May 3-5.
Watzek Recess: Don’t let the stress of Reading Days get you down. Come to the library classroom for a spread of treats and diversions to help get you through the weekend from 8-10 pm Saturday May 4 & 8-10pm Monday May 6th. We’ll have: savory & sweet snacks, lots of caffeine, coloring and games galore, movies, and free 10 minute massages (sign up at 8 pm sharp-limited availability). These events are organized by the Watzek Library Student Advisory Committee (SAC), and are made possible by the Student Initiatives Fund.

Mind Your Health
This is a reminder that the Student Health Service is open regular clinic hours during Finals Week. The Counseling Service will be open with full staffing through May 10th Appointments continue to be needed to see the physician, for travel medicine consultations and vaccinations and for women’s health consultations and examinations. Remember to stay healthy, eat well, get plenty of rest, exercise daily and wash your hands frequently.
Bon Appetit News
We will be having Finals Brunch on Sunday May 5th from 11am-1pm. There will be Karaoke, frost your own donuts with toppings, extended waffle bar, extended benedict bar and much more. Come sing and enjoy special treats.
We will be open regular hours during reading days and finals week with closures as follows:
- Field’s Dining Room will close after Dinner on Friday May 10th at 7:00pm
- Trail Room Late Night will close Thursday May 9th at 11:00pm
- Trail Room Lunch will close Friday May 10th at 2:30pm
- Maggie’s will close Friday May 10th at 4:00pm
- Dovecote will close Friday May 10th at 2:30pm

The Help Desk located on the first floor of the Watzek Library has the following hours:
- Saturday, noon-5pm
- Sunday, noon-5pm, 6-9pm
- Monday-Thursday, 8:30-5pm, 6-9pm
- Friday, 8:30-5pm

We are happy to come pick anything up & we will also be making regular rounds of the dumpsters to retrieve eWaste.
