The Inauguration of Barry Glassner

On April 7-9, 2011, the Lewis & Clark community, joined by scholars and dignitaries from across the United States and around the world, celebrated the inauguration of Barry Glassner.

The events offered a time to reflect on the value of the liberal arts and the meaning of global citizenry. Friends of the college as well as leaders in a variety of academic fields  explored the future of higher education in an academic symposium. As part of Lewis & Clark’s commitment to community, students, staff, faculty, and alumni volunteered their time to projects around Portland.
