Prospect Research and Management - Lewis & Clark

Question: Where do you store research information?

Answer: We store research information in various tabs in the Raiser’s Edge. For example, short bios are stored in the constituent notes tab and financial information in the prospect tab. During the course of research, we often find biographical information such as address, employment, individual/organization relationships that needs to be stored elsewhere in the database. In this case, we will forward the information to Advancement Services.

(Please refer to the Raiser’s Edge Training Manual for further information about where and how information is stored in the Raiser’s Edge).
