Yoga w/ Armand

Join us for a weekly session of Vinyasa yoga. Vinyasa integrates breathe and movement with focused awareness and alignment. We will move through traditional yogic poses with intentional sequencing that will emphasize a variety of elements, including stretching and flexibility, strength work, balancing, and meditative opportunities. Armand initially found yoga as an injury rehabilitation and flexibility building routine to pair with long distance running and swimming. After implementing a consistent, developed practice, he now finds the mindfulness-based practice integral for maintaining holistic well-being. He believes that yoga, as a primary, complementary, or distinct practice can provide invaluable perspectives on one’s physical and mental health. In his classes, Armand aims to provide that individualistic space and time for all to discover and develop their yoga practice as they need it—and as it may be uniquely their own.

Armand completed his 200-HR Yoga Alliance Teacher Training at Sellwood Yoga and is currently enrolled in the 300-HR Teacher Training program with the studio as well. He teaches a Vinyasa Flow, all-levels class every Monday evening at 6:15 pm with Sellwood Yoga, which can be accessed through live stream.
