Date: September 21 2011 11:00am - 4:00pm Location: Ronna and Eric Hoffman Gallery of Contemporary Art
Ronna and Eric Hoffman Gallery of Contemporary Art
The Hoffman Gallery will debut a major collection of new art from some of the finest Pacific Northwest artists in September 2011. The exhibition will feature the work of 20 past fellows of the Bonnie Bronson Fund—considered to be the most prominent Pacific Northwest artists in the 21st century. It is the first such gallery event to bring these artists together in one exhibition.
The Lewis & Clark exhibition is the centerpiece of a three-part tribute to the legacy of Bonnie Bronson, a powerful force in the regional art community who passed away in 1990. Other exhibitions will include a collection of works by 2010 Fellow David Eckard at Marylhurst University and, at Reed College, a walking tour of the college’s collection of works purchased from each past Bonnie Bronson Fellow.
The exhibition at Lewis & Clark will be open from September 7-December 11, 2011. This event is free and open to the public; parking on campus is free on the weekends. For more information, call 503-768-7687 or visit the Hoffman Gallery website.
