  • Was named to the ambassador board of Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest (BBBSCN), allowing him to contribute to fundraising and community outreach efforts for the organization. Volm, with Barran Liebman, has volunteered with BBBSCN for five years as a big brother and continues his mentoring work.

  • Joined the San Francisco office of Hanson Bridgett as a partner. Pujari has practiced environmental and criminal law for more than 20 years, handling complex matters in federal and state court. She is also an expert in regulatory and administrative forums, having worked as an enforcement attorney for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C., and represented companies in administrative enforcement and penalty actions. Prior to joining the private sector, Pujari was a senior assistant district attorney in the Special Prosecutions Division of the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and an assistant U.S. attorney in the Northern District of California. In both offices, she investigated and prosecuted environmental crimes and as well as white-collar crimes such as fraud, bribery, false statements, and obstruction of justice.

  • Joined Portland law firm Bodyfelt Mount as a partner. Kent, an experienced litigator, focuses her practice on employment and insurance issues. Previously, she was the managing attorney and lead trial attorney for Zurich North America Insurance Company in Portland. She also volunteers as a judge and coach for high school mock trial competitions.

  • Received the Environmental Law Champions Award from the Asian Development Bank. Vibhaw, who has taught environmental law in India, is with Luthra & Luthra Law Offices in their environmental law practice.

  • Became the program specialist for the American Bar Association’s Commission on Disability Rights in their Washington, D.C., office.

  • Joined Tonkon Torp’s business department, where she is focused on start-up companies, privacy, technology, and intellectual property law. Previously, Wallace was a legal advisor for early and growth-stage tech companies specializing in data privacy, intellectual property protection, fundraising, and scalability strategy. She has also worked for Apple, Microsoft, and Avatron Software. Wallace is a certified information privacy professional (CIPP/US).

  • Was appointed to the position of General Magistrate in the 11th Judicial Circuit by the Chief Judge March 2015.

  • Is a shareholder with Maloney Lauersdorf Reiner (MLR), a Portland law firm that specializes in insurance coverage litigation. MLR has purchased the landmark Burnside Rocket building. Constructed in 2007, it was one of the first commercial buildings in the world to be awarded LEED Platinum status.

  • Was elected president of the National Association of Women Judges. Frantz is the first from Oregon to hold the position. She has served on the Multnomah County Circuit Court bench since 1994, and is Chief Criminal Judge. 

  • Launched Scott Snyder Arbitration & Mediation, which focuses on effective alternative dispute resolution services. Snyder has extensive experience in business and injury litigation having arbitrated and mediated hundreds of cases. He is a former in-house counsel for Safeco Insurance, KinderCare, and Rentrak Corporation. Snyder has also served as municipal judge for the City of North Plains.   • Joined Barran Liebman as an associate. Volm represents employers and management in employment law litigation and provides advice on a full range of employment law matters. He is a director on the board of the Multnomah Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, a volunteer attorney with the Lewis & Clark Small Business Legal Clinic, and a member of the law school’s Recent Graduate Council.

  • Released Alaska Natives and American Laws, Third Edition, a treatise coauthored with David Case. Voluck sits as chief judge to the Sitka Tribe of Alaska, magistrate/judge to the Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska, and judge pro tem for the Aleut Community of St. Paul Island Tribal Government. He is also an adjunct professor with Lewis & Clark’s summer Indian Law Program.

  • Was named in the 2013 edition of Chambers USA, American’s Leading Lawyers for Business. Miller is a shareholder with Tonkon Torp in Portland, and he chairs the firm’s environmental and natural resources practice group.

  • Was featured in “Changing Lives for the Better” in the fall 2013 Advocate Magazine.

  • Was named by the Portland Business Journal as one of its 40 Under Forty Executives for 2013. Husbands is a partner with Holland & Knight in Portland, where he is a member of the private wealth services section and represents clients in an array of business, tax, business succession, and estate planning matters, including business reorganizations, acquisitions, and divestitures

  • Was unanimously voted secretary for the Portland Estate Planning Council Board.

  • Was named in The Best Lawyers in America for the 
fifth year in a row. Elsner, an attorney with Beery Elsner & Hammond, has 30 years of experience as a local government attorney both as in-house counsel and as outside advisor.

  • Became the product litigation group leader at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt.

  • Was featured with his musical group Bizarre Love Triangle in the third episode of AMC’s new competition series, Showville, which aired June 6. Following auditions at the Power House Theater in Walla Walla, Washington, the act was selected to compete to be named town favorite.

  • Was honored by the Multnomah Bar Association with the 2013 MBA Professionalism Award.
 Brown also was elected secretary/treasurer of the Multnomah Bar Foundation. He is a partner with Cosgrave Vergeer Kester, where his practice focuses on civil appeals in state and federal courts, insurance coverage opinions and litigation, and professional liability defense.

  • Was named in The Best Lawyers in America for the fifth year in a row. Beery, an attorney with Beery Elsner & Hammond, specializes in land use and telecommunications law.
