Hansink Leads Alumni Board

As a new graduate, Kim Hansink ’86 interacted with Lewis & Clark alumni in the College’s annual giving office. Now, 17 years later, she is serving alumni on a much broader scale as president of Lewis & Clark College’s Board of Alumni. This 21-member group advises the College on programs to benefit alumni and on ways alumni can serve the College.

Hansink has been inspired and impressed by the many alumni she has met during her three-year association with the alumni board. She thinks the College has much to gain from tapping into alumni resources.

“My goal is to unleash the talent, creativity, and energy of the volunteers on the alumni board,” says Hansink. “We want to give Lewis & Clark alumni worthwhile opportunities to reconnect with each other and the College. And we want to provide great experiences that will reinforce those connections for life.”

Hansink is a managing consultant for the Gallup Organization, where she is responsible for helping client companies enhance business performance by improving workplace culture and customer relationships. She also coaches executives and helps clients hire and develop effective employees.

Hansink succeeds Jamie Forman ’81, who served as board president for the last three years.
