Congressman on Campus

U.S. Representative Earl Blumenauer B.A. ’70, J.D. ’76 visited Lewis & Clark in late January. After speaking to an American politics course about the importance of voting and public service, he participated in a lively question-and-answer session with students in the Council Chamber. Blumenauer said his political engagement began when he was an undergraduate at Lewis & Clark. He jokingly warned students, “Be careful what you do here … it just might grab you.
