Matthew Bergman JD ’89 founded the law firm Bergman Draper Oslund, which has grown to become the Northwest’s premier asbestos litigation firm. He has served on Lewis & Clark Law School’s Board of Visitors since 2007. Bergman is a frequent visitor to Kenya and is actively involved with the Maasai Children’s Initiative.

Patty Francy BA ’67 was the first woman to assume the post of treasurer at Columbia University after serving as director of budget operations and director of finance. She retired as treasurer & controller and special advisor for alumni relations. Francy currently is a director of the Old Westbury Funds of the Bessemer Trust Company and a former director of the Siebert Financial Corporation and priceline.com. She serves on the boards of several foundations and nonprofits.

She works as an independent consultant providing strategic regulatory expertise in international biologic and small-molecule drug development, including companion diagnostic development.
