David Grube BA ’69 celebrated two 50th anniversaries this year: his wedding in Agnes Flanagan Chapel to Lynn Hansard in January, and his graduation from medical school in June. David and Lynn live in Corvallis. David reports that he is “still singing” in retirement.

David Grube BA ’69 retired in December 2021 as the national medical director for Compassion & Choices. After more than 35 years practicing family medicine in Philomath, Oregon, he served this nonprofit, educating physicians and citizens about end-of-life options and care. He and his wife, Lynn, live in Corvallis, Oregon, and sing in a Threshold Choir and in the Chancel Choir of the First Presbyterian Church.
