Donald Leap

Donald Leap BA ’70, September 16, 2021, age 72. Leap was an accomplished speaker and worked election night radio broadcasts in 1966 and 1968 while at Lewis & Clark. He was an early adopter of a portable, battery-powered reel-to-reel recorder for interviews. Leap’s career took him into sales, eventually as a representative for German companies. Later, he worked as an advocate for improvement of rail transportation in the Pacific Northwest. Survivors include his wife, Teresa.
