Correne Barrus BS ’51, September 22, 2019, age 97. Barrus worked as a teacher. She was chosen Teacher of the Year at Pleasant Valley (Oregon) Elementary School, where many considered her their favorite teacher. Survivors include her children, Evelyn, Carol, Bradley, and Dean; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
