Daniel Joseph Rubin

Daniel Rubin JD ’12 was reappointed by Governor Gavin Newsom as chief counsel at the California Department of Pesticide Regulation, where Rubin has served in this role since 2018. Rubin was acting chief counsel and staff attorney at the department between 2013 and 2018. Previously, he was a policy assistant at the Conservation Strategy Group, a graduate fellow at the California Energy Commission, a law clerk at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, and a law clerk at the Department of Water Resources.
