William “Bill” Whitaker JD ’86, a Foreign Service officer with the U.S. Department of State, is currently stationed in São Paulo, Brazil. Whitaker joined the department after practicing law in Anchorage and Kodiak for 16 years, and has previously served in U.S. embassies and consulates in Mexico City; Bern, Switzerland; Santiago, Chile; Tijuana, Mexico; and Oslo, Norway.
