Bowen Blair JD ’80, an environmental attorney and author, was appointed by Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland to the National Park System Advisory Board, which advises Haaland and the director of the National Park Service. The board also has a regulatory role in recommending new National Natural Landmarks and National Historic Landmarks and provides recommendations regarding the national historic significance of proposed National Historic Trails. Blair begins his four-year term in 2023.
