Andrew (Drew) Kerr Jr.

Andrew (Drew) Duncan Kerr Jr. JD ’09 passed away from a heart attack on May 28, 2023.

Drew was born June 8, 1978. Originally from Illinois and New Jersey, he graduated from the University of Oregon in 1997 with a BS in environmental policy.

Drew married Lindsay Ann Keagle and settled in Eugene, Oregon, in 2013.

An Eagle Scout, sailor, artist, and musician, Drew also became a scuba divemaster, accomplished rock climber, and environmentalist in college. As a law student, he was captain of the Lewis & Clark Dragon Boat team. An expert in water law, Drew was also the past chair of the Board of the Sierra Club of Oregon and an active bicyclist and gardener.

Drew is survived by his wife, Lindsay: daughter, Audrey Vivian Kerr; parents, Andrew and Pamela Kerr; brother, Mathias; sister-in-law, Chelsea; nephew, Bradley; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many, many friends.
