Ivana Vuco BA ’98 writes: “I am currently employed at USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance as a regional humanitarian advisor. I’m posted at BHA Regional Office at the U.S. Embassy Budapest (Hungary), where I advise on and manage all U.S. government humanitarian operations in North Africa. I’ve also served in USAID’s rapid deployment teams in disasters (something we call the Disaster Assistance Response Team or DART) in Ethiopia, Lebanon, Iraq, and, this year, in Ukraine and Haiti. I am also hoping to finish my PhD studies in humanitarian assistance this year, but that remains to be seen.”
