Ryan Viles

Ryan Viles BA ’12 and Claire Burdick BA ’12, were married on August 26, 2023, at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington. Among the 120 wedding guests were a number of their fellow Lewis & Clark alumni: Julian Boshard BA ’12, Molly Dickinson BA ’12, Catherine Grella BA ’12, Anna Brook Gutzler BA ’12, Alexa Johnson BA ’12, Maddie Kelly BA ’11, Reed Kelly BA ’11, Kenzie Rowlett BA ’12, Joseph Sibilia-Young BA ’12, and Daniel Yaker BA ’11. Burdick is finishing her PhD in English literature from the University of California at Irvine. Viles is a physician assistant in family medicine at the Portland Clinic. They live in northeast Portland with their two doodles, Bisou and Missy.
