David Povey

David Povey BS ’62, May 2, 2023, age 83. After starting a family and moving to Ithaca, New York, Povey earned a master’s degree and a doctorate in urban and regional planning from Cornell University. He got his first teaching job in Honolulu at the University of Hawai’i. He retired in 1998. Povey enjoyed fly fishing, skiing, camping, and windsurfing. Survivors include many family members and friends.
