John J. Overbay

John J. Overbay BS ’56, May 1, 2023, age 88. Overbay served his country in the Army Reserve during the Korean War, and afterward, went into business with his father-in-law, who owned a grocery store. Over the course of his career, Overbay opened several other grocery stores, concluding with one in Pinebrook Plaza in Bend, Oregon, in 1990. He was an active member of his community and a philanthropist. Survivors include children, Connie, Ronald, and Robert; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
