Pain can take time to travel through the body and the mind. The counseling service is holding a space and time to process the events of August 29th and the impact that the accident may have made on members of our community. Please join Cindy and Christabel if you would benefit from some collective support.
Recent events in the media and within our culture have evoked strong emotions for some people, especially those with a history of trauma. The Counseling Service will be hosting a drop-in hour for any student who wishes to share their thoughts or feelings about sexual assault or related issues with others.
This workshop is designed to prepare seniors for graduation and the transition to post graduation life. The transition from a college student to a college graduate requires several adjustments. This is an opportunity for students to prepare for these adjustments and to learn how to manage life after college. We will discuss important aspects of graduation such as the anxiety and excitement of graduating, maintaining friendships after graduation, the transition to a life with additional responsibilities, and preparing for a career.
