Events for All CAS Student Groups

This week I am working to provide LiveWhale events to all student groups in the Lewis & Clark College of Arts and Sciences. When completed, this will allow all groups to post their events on their own page as well as the central campus calendar. Currently, only some groups have this capability.

There are several steps involved, including adding the proper subdirectories — for instance, the Climbing Club at http://college.lclark.edu/student_life/student_organizations/climbing will have events listed at http://college.lclark.edu/student_life/student_organizations/climbing/events — as well as creating a LiveWhale group for each organization, and providing access to the proper student contacts for them.

Also: another step is removing unused, outdated directories fromhttp://college.lclark.edu/student_life/student_organizations/

This entire effort marks the first stage in making our Lewis & Clark student groups’ websites more robust, accurate, and indicative of all the great work going on here.
